Moravia Systems, a.s. has successfully completed a technically and documentation-wise highly demanding project involving supply of spare parts for Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.
The scope of delivery included nine forged bodies of stainless steel control valves in sizes DN80–DN150 and four stem sets for stainless steel quick-acting regulating globe valves DN100, which are installed in the controlled area of 2nd block of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.
The delivery was successfully finished before planned shut-down scheduled to February 2026 and was critically important for ensuring nuclear safety as well as adherence to the shut-down schedule. The project placed exceptional demands not only on the technical solution itself, but also on the organization of inspections, the quality of manufacturing and accompanying documentation, and the strict observance of deadlines.
Moravia Systems, a.s. would like to thank all its employees for their extraordinary commitment, professionalism, and sense of responsibility, thanks to which this challenging mission was successfully accomplished.
Our thanks also go to the customer, ČEZ, a.s. – Temelín Nuclear Power Plant, for their constructive cooperation in organizing inspections and technical coordination.
Special thanks are also extended to our long-standing business partner, Stahl-Armaturen Persta, for successfully handling this technically demanding project within the required deadline and for the long-term support and partnership that we are building together since 2002.
